Ropes Course design new feature for customers.

Norwegian Cruise Line is planning something wet and wild for its next ship, the Norwegian Breakaway: A massive High Ropes Course design and a water park area with five -- count 'em -- water slides. Norwegian today also will announce that the Norwegian Breakaway's top deck will feature a sprawling, three-story sports complex with the largest ropes course at sea, a nine-hole miniature golf course, basketball court and rock climbing wall.

Among the elements of the multi-level ropes course: The Plank, a platform that extends eight feet over the side of the ship, challenging (harness wearing) passengers to "walk the plank" before completing the experience. In adding a ropes course, Norwegian is following industry giant Carnival, which unveiled the first ropes course at sea last year on the new Carnival Magic.
