Featuring a zip-wire, climbing wall, high and low rope courses and more, all built around a main activity tower, the development hopes to bring new jobs to the area, as well as great opportunities to discover a new way to spend your leisure time. The facility is being built at the Leisure Centre and one of the chief features will be a 60-metre zip wire, descending from a wooden tower, which will also incorporate a climbing wall.
Elsewhere, there will be two courses – one low-level, and one hexagonal high-level construction – comprising a series of rope swings and platforms. The main activity tower, with a sail roof, will be opposite the garage, at the far end of the leisure centre site.
