Nature Center opens zipline, ropes challenge course for campers.
During a recent tour of the Nature Center, something emerges over the hill. It's big. It has an open ropes challenge course, a zip line and a 250-foot-long slip'n slide.
To draw teenagers, the nature center is adding an open ropes challenge course, two zip lines -- one for kids and one for adults -- and a 250-foot-long slip'n slide. The zip lines and challenge ropes course will be open for summer campers as soon as construction is finished. There will most likely be a extra charge to ride the zip line, she said. The open ropes course may follow the same kind of operation hours.
