New zip-line ride this fall
The zipwire will give thrillseekers a chance to fly across the sky over 100 feet in the air on a zip line measuring roughly 400 feet each way. One or two people can ride in a side-by-side 2-seat chair lift which will be pulled swiftly backward as they prepare to “zip”.
Once the ride reaches the top, the rollercoaster zipline will change directions and zoom forward at 30 miles-per-hour returning back to the ground to complete the flight. The riders will experience the sensation of flying, while accelerating down a suspended cable. This zip line is unique in that it is not a hanging harness system allowing riders of all ages to share in the excitement. Iron Eagle riders will enjoy sitting in a comfortable formed seat with a seat belt.
