We assess and confirm next steps
We review the information you provided and contact you with a confirmed service plan, including logistics arrangements and expected turnaround.
You send your units to the service center
You ship your Edelrid Smart Belay units to the service center using the agreed logistics arrangement. We recommend shipping immediately after your peak season to maximise availability for the new season.
Units checked on arrival
Upon arrival, each unit is checked for function, wear, and safety. This intake assessment forms the basis of the work scope we discuss with you in the next step.
We agree the scope of work with you
Before any work begins, we discuss the required scope — inspection, maintenance, repairs, or adjustments — and obtain your approval. No work is carried out without your confirmation.

Part of our complete lifecycle offering
Speedrunner is a high-performance continuous belay system designed for operators who value simplicity, safety, and operational flexibility. Built for high-volume adventure parks, it uses a robust Kanhook system that allows guests to move through courses effortlessly without ever detaching from the safety line.
One of Speedrunner's greatest strengths is its versatility. It can be easily customized with components like bifurcations (switches), allowing you to create complex, multi-path course layouts that keep visitors engaged. All wear-prone parts are designed for heavy daily use and are easily replaceable, featuring protective elements to maximize their lifespan and minimize downtime.
For park staff, Speedrunner is incredibly efficient. In an emergency, instructors can quickly and safely detach a guest from the lifeline, ensuring rapid response times. The installation is straightforward and requires fewer connection points than traditional systems, making it the most cost-effective continuous belay solution for modern adventure parks.
Key operational benefits:
- Low Entry Cost: High-quality Swiss engineering at a competitive price point.
- Reduced Staffing: Simple guest operation means less instruction time and lower supervision requirements.
- High Durability: Integrated cable protection and robust hardware reduce long-term maintenance expenses.
- Maximum Safety: Fully compliant with EN 15567 and other international safety standards.
By choosing Speedrunner, you are investing in a reliable safety solution that boosts your park's capacity and protects your bottom line. Its proven design ensures that your adventure course remains both profitable and safe for years to come.
The "Green" Lifeline Anchoring Device. ECO-friendly technology.
One of the "green" technical solutions developed by Skywalker is our "tree-friendly" lifeline anchor device (tree mounting / tree strapping system) for forest high wire ropes courses which has been adopted by climbing park designers all over Europe. This eco-friendly lifeline anchoring device is based on a set of specially designed brackets which, unlike conventional methods using multi-layer steel cable coils, can be continuously adjusted to the ongoing growth pattern of any tree that is part of the course supporting structure.
With an average price of 98, = euro* per connection point, the lifeline bracket-system is available for Ropes Course owners and professionals. Contact us for more information. For professional resellers different conditions apply.

However, ecological compatibility/friendliness are not the only advantages of the Skywalkers' lifeline mounting device (tree strap system): The installation is easy and straight forward, the system is extremely low maintenance and comparable to conventional solutions in both price and lifespan. Furthermore, the use of the lifeline system has been certified by TÜV in various parks, to ensure the operational safety of any climbing park using our eco-friendly solution.
We not only routinely implement our tree-friendly lifeline mounting device in our own climbing park designs but also supply adventure park and climbing course manufacturers all across Europe with our system.
