◆ About Skywalker
Quality that protects your investment
Quality is what distinguishes one climbing park from another. It is quality that ensures the flawless operation of your park, guarantees a high level of guest satisfaction, and — ultimately — determines the profitability of your business.
At Skywalker, quality is not limited to the materials used or the assembly process chosen. It is an intrinsic property woven into every aspect of our work — from the initial design brief to the long-term lifecycle of your park.

Structural engineering
Precision calculations, verified by independent experts
Together with independent certification bodies including TÜV — one of Europe's leading testing and certification organisations — Skywalker has developed proprietary software for mechanical load-stress and strength calculations in adventure parks.
Our CAD design system is directly linked to a database containing the specifications of every Skywalker project delivered over the past two decades. These records include the structural strength of different wood types and composite materials, varying soil configurations, and local climatic conditions across multiple regions.
These parameters are combined with data gathered during your specific site assessment to produce the construction statics — a mandatory part of the technical documentation package required by any independent certification authority before a park may open.
"Quality is what distinguishes one climbing park from another. It is quality that ensures the flawless operation of your park — and, ultimately, the profitability of your business."
Design philosophy
Ecological design for a more memorable guest experience
A truly successful adventure park offers more than physical activity — it immerses guests in an unspoiled natural setting. One of the most important factors in converting an outdoor activity into a compelling visitor attraction is the seamless integration of the course into its surroundings.
We use only natural and environmentally safe construction materials, and strive to maintain the overall design as close to natural forms and shapes as possible. Tree trunks are round — so our platforms reflect that principle. This design ethic is not merely aesthetic: it directly supports the long-term commercial success of your facility by offering guests a memorable experience rather than a fleeting visit.
We are committed to keeping our environmental impact to an absolute minimum — from installation methods that avoid damage to trees and the surrounding landscape, to design principles that allow the park to blend into its environment as naturally as if it had never been built.
Site selection
We advise against unsuitable sites — every time
Thorough preliminary analysis
Every project begins with a thorough site assessment — evaluating terrain, vegetation, soil conditions, and infrastructure. Our goal is to identify any constraints before a single post is sunk.
If a location does not meet the standards required for a sustainable, high-quality adventure park, we will tell you promptly — and advise against proceeding. On this point, we make no concessions. Not only because we are committed to delivering quality, but because any park's long-term success depends on operational efficiency at low ongoing cost.

Environmental protection at every stage
Skywalker recommends a minimum site area of 1.5 hectares for any forest climbing park. This threshold is not arbitrary: smaller sites frequently require substantial tree removal or land clearance to achieve the required route density — degrading the very environment that makes the guest experience valuable.
Our goal is to minimise impact on local flora and fauna so that, once built, a Skywalker park maintains the forest's appearance and ecological health as closely as possible to its natural state. This careful integration is as important to long-term guest satisfaction as the activities themselves.

Ongoing tree health monitoring recommended post-installation
Tree health Prior to the installation of any forest climbing park or high ropes course, all trees serving as structural elements must be examined by a qualified arborist. Skywalker recommends continued health assessments at regular intervals after the park enters operation — and after any period of severe weather.
Long-term partnership
Our commitment does not end at installation
Delivering a completed park is the beginning of a long-term working relationship. Skywalker's post-installation services protect the operational integrity, safety compliance, and commercial performance of your investment over its full lifecycle. For more on the safety standards and inspections that underpin this commitment, see our About Safety page.
🏅
Independent certification
Inaugural inspections are conducted by independent Type A certification bodies in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020. Every new installation receives its EN 15567 (European Ropes Course Standard) Inaugural Certification before opening to the public. Skywalker holds an exclusive partnership with TÜV for these site acceptance tests.
🔧
Maintenance and inspection
Scheduled maintenance contracts and bimonthly operational checks keep your park performing at its highest level. Annual comprehensive inspections by qualified Type C inspectors maintain your certification status, can improve your insurance terms, and protect the long-term value of your infrastructure. Find out more on our Lifecycle Management page.
🎓
Staff training and operations
Every Skywalker handover includes operational training for your team. Our Training and Education service extends to ongoing staff certification, instructor qualification, and the ERCA-standard protocols required to pass your annual inspection — keeping your team confident and your operation compliant.
Every Skywalker installation is backed by a one-year warranty — reflecting our confidence in the quality and durability of every build we deliver.
