First UK ZipCoaster is Ready to Rock 'n Roll

A white-knuckle ride, billed as Europe's first roller coaster zipline, has now launched in the North East where visitors are invited to hit the heights this summer. Following months of planning, the custom-built Kielder ZipCoaster offers adrenaline junkies a thrilling ride where they will feel both the free-flying sensation of a zipwire and the ups and downs, and twists and turns, of a rollercoaster.

The ZipCoaster is an aerial zip line that simulates the sensation of free flight while remaining entirely safe. Not only thrill-seekers but also those who long for new experiences enjoy the flight. Every Zipline Coaster we make has a distinctive custom design, and the Extreme model can reach speeds of up to 50 km/h.

Curvy Ziplines are a system that allows them to slalom, zigzag, and even spin, giving you an amazing experience. The suspense and the force of gravity in the curves is what makes the zip lines produce different sensations, that is why they are so exciting. The system uses metal tubes that are connected by cables.

With Disney set to open Star Wars-themed lands at two of its parks in 2019, people of all alliances can expect a thorough mashing-up of the iconic film franchise and Disneyland’s thrills. But one perfect combination of ride and movie, a combination that’s really just sitting there waiting to be implemented, would be a roller coaster zipline running through the forests of Endor.

In May 2019 we constructed the fabulous Kielder ZipCoaster in the UK, and the response has been great. Over 3000 people from kids to grandparents have enjoyed the ups, downs, twists and turns of a rollercoaster and the free-flying sensation of a zip wire.
